JOB TITLE: Broadcast Engineer

Implement, install, maintain and repair all televisions and television-related equipment for University Television Services.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Operate and oversee the day-to-day activities of all transmitting equipment.
Maintain, install and repair television and studio production equipment.
Maintain and produce all maintenance and technical logs for transmitting and other equipment.
Repair or verify operational status of all electromechanical equipment as assigned.
Serve as operating engineer for studio, remote productions and teleconferencing.
Develop, construct and implement support apparatuses necessary for the facility operation.
Control, install and service the campuses cable television system.
Serve as production support personnel (i.e., cameraperson, technical director, etc.) as assigned.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Associate's degree in Broadcast Engineering or two years of post-high school technical training. FCC Radiotelephone First-Class Broadcast License.
Five years of related experience.
