JOB SUMMARY
Provide images that support external communications to the international research community as well as instructional materials, university marketing and development efforts.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Direct and/or execute photography including setting up cameras, lighting and other equipment.
Meet and consult with faculty, students or staff to analyze needs and develop visual communications plans, estimate time and materials required for assignments and evaluate results to insure goals are met.
Use digital technology to acquire, manipulate and transform, repair, or improve images.
Engage in developmental and investigative activity to maintain current expert knowledge of all the tools and techniques involved in digital photographic illustration.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Art History, Fine Art, Communication Photography or Journalism.
EXPERIENCE
Four years of related experience. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements.
