JOB TITLE: Audio Visual Technician

Operate and maintain audiovisual equipment that is used in the production of instructional aids.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Operate a variety of audiovisual equipment including video tape recorders, film and slide projectors, audio tape recorders, microphones, monitors and receivers.
Schedule use of audiovisual equipment.
Operate television motion picture cameras in filming required subjects.
Select best technique to produce desired visual effect in devising visual aids to assist in research or instructional programs.
Supervise operation and retrieval of audiovisual equipment by personnel assigned to operate such equipment.
Perform minor maintenance.
Maintain status of audiovisual equipment in Media Distribution Unit through daily inventory.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
One year of technical training school in Electronics or related field or may require at least one year of training in Art's Media or Photography.
One year of experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
