Coordinate the production of custom teaching materials for faculty and ensure compliance with copyright laws.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Obtain clearances for the use of published material, computer software, copyrighted tapes, videos, etc., from rightsholders.
Contact faculty and department chairs to facilitate orders for customized classroom material.
Evaluate material and its intended use to make a determination regarding "fair use" exclusion.
Design, write and distribute marketing materials for service.
Develop and implement strategy to educate faculty and staff on copyright issues and requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Political Science or related field.
Two years of experience.
