Provide direction to the academic support services programs of the Division of Transitional Studies.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Provide direction for the Division of Transitional Studies academic support services unit.
Implement and evaluate division's individual, small group tutoring, and supplemental instructional and financial incentive programs.
Make hiring recommendations and evaluate staff for the academic support services unit.
Manage unit budget.
Assist in planning, administering and developing division policies and procedures.
Represent the division on committees; serve as liaison to departments, schools and community groups.
Conduct on-going training and orientation sessions for academic support services staff.
Perform other duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Master's degree in Higher Education, Administration, Educational Psychology, Student Personnel Services or related field.
Three years of experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
