JOB SUMMARY

To provide management and support for effective operations, maintenance, and enhancement of the voice, data, and video communications infrastructure of the university.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Research, evaluate, recommend, and direct implementation of new communications technologies in voice, data, and video networking.

Maintain operational liaison with communications vendors and affiliates, negotiating contracts and trails as necessary.

Coordinate communications planning efforts for integrated voice, data, and video.

Support Information Technology in team management and quality process involvement.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field.

EXPERIENCE

Six years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
