JOB SUMMARY

Design and maintain voice, data, and video communications infrastructure for the University.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Plan, review and design campus communications networking. 

Investigate and recommend communications equipment, products, services and standards.

Develop and coordinate campus wiring specifications.

Develop and maintain network documentation and maps.

Lead trouble-shooting and problem-resolution efforts for voice, data and video problems.

Coordinate and supervise technicians on communications installations.

Support Information Technology in team management and quality process improvement.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted. 

EXPERIENCE

Five years of related experience.
