Planning, development, implementation and maintenance of systems infrastructure to the department's processes. Coordinate computer resources and serve as liaison with offices responsible for major university information systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
Planning, development, implementation and maintenance of systems infrastructure to support the department's processes.
Coordinate, design and implement data administration strategies and procedures: client/ server environment and WEB-based information delivery.
Coordinate the identification, evaluation and acquisition of hardware and software. Conduct on-going review and analysis of systems needs and plan acquisitions in relation to financial availability.
Serve as liaison with offices responsible for major university information systems.
Prepare and maintain documentation of all decision support systems and databases. Develop documentation and process standards.
Communicate information and provide systems support to staff and other offices.
Keep abreast of technological development.
Other duties/special projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Training and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
Four years of related experience.
An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
