JOB SUMMARY
Lead a group of programmers in the design and development of application systems and provide guidance concerning complex techniques and optimum methods.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate the work of a programming team.
Develop large, complex computer based information systems, including program design development, system and program specifications, system testing, documentation, and implementation.
Design, write, test, debug, and document computer programs.
Provide programming and analysis support.
Provide problem resolution in assigned areas.
Assist in project control, including time and cost estimating and programming coordination.
Assist in the development of internal standards and procedures.
Assist in training other programmers.
Develop skills through continued training and self education.
Perform related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
EXPERIENCE
Six years of related Computer experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
