Provide architectural and planning services for new facilities for the University.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide architectural support and information to the University officials during the planning or conversion of new facilities.
Evaluate space assignments in terms of costs and other technical matters.
Prepare architectural documents and cost estimates for new structures and renovation projects.
Prepare the program for design and supervise the implementation of major projects.
Check the design and specifications of consultants.
Accumulate and retain specialized technical data pertaining to equipment and construction.
Represent the Office of Facilities Management in meetings and interchanges with state and private consultants on architectural matters.
Supervise and inspect payments to contractors and construction work progress.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Training and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
Four years of related experience.
