Job Summary

Recruit, interview, screen, and refer applicants for positions in all departments of the University.

Duties and Responsibilities

Screen, select, and refer applicants for vacant positions within University regulations and departmental guidelines.

Interview applicants and counsel current employees on employment problems and transfer policies.

Respond to inquiries about employment opportunities from applicants, and hiring procedures within University departments.

Review and approve departmental candidate selections.

Recruit applicants via written advertisements and phone contacts.

Perform related duties as required.

Knowledge, Training and Skills

Bachelor's degree.

An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.


One year of experience in Employment Interviewing.
