JOB SUMMARY

Maintain and operate the electron microscope and supporting equipment for use in research and diagnostic determinations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare samples for testing.

Operate and maintain the electron microscope and other laboratory equipment.

Examine specimens for diagnostic determination.

Develop and print photographs made with the electron microscope.

Conduct support research under direction of primary researchers.

Perform related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in Physical or Biological Science.

An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.

EXPERIENCE

Two years of experience Operating Electron Microscope.
