Research and evaluate options for seminars, symposia, and workshops to be organized and conducted by the Department of Equine Administration including both racing and non-racing segments of the industry. Coordinate department's publications, advertising and public relations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Evaluate options for seminars, workshops, etc.
Coordinate the department's publications, advertising and public relations activities.
Schedule speakers, necessary facilities, set fees and attend to all details essential for conducting these events.
Teaching.
Working with chairman and faculty, prioritize options, develop calendar of events.
Maintain and update specialized mailing lists.
Provide support for academic or research development seminars.
Knowledge, Training and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Liberal Arts or related field.
Experience
Ten years of related experience.
