Job Title: Assistant Director, Arts and Sciences Academic

Provide academic counseling to students enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences and assist in the planning, development, and evaluation of services and activities of the Academic Advising Center.
Duties and Responsibilities
Advise and counsel individual students on a wide range of academic and personal questions.
Explain and interpret College policies, procedures, and academic requirements.
Assist in development of advising materials and in preparation and presentation of programs.
Plan and coordinate academic counseling services provided by the academic counseling staff.
Serve as liaison to the Registrar's Office and assist that office in the development of the degree audit and student transcript systems.
Represent the Center at meetings and as a member of committees.
Assist in the planning, development, and evaluation of services and activities.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Training and Skills
Master's degree in College Student Personnel, Counseling, or any liberal arts discipline.
Four years of related experience.
