Job Title: Coordinator, Microsurgery Teaching Laboratory
Class Code: 000348  

 Job Summary

Responsible for supervising and coordinating the instructional courses of the Microsurgery Teaching Laboratory, and teaching microsurgical skills to surgeons.

Duties and Responsibilities

Teach microsurgical techniques to surgeons in the Microsurgical Laboratory.

Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment.

Train teaching personnel from other centers in microsurgery techniques.

Maintain inventory and supplies for the Microsurgery Laboratory.

Supervise the work of participants in the Microsurgery Laboratory.

Knowledge, Training and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Zoology, or related field of science.

An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.

Experience

Four years of related experience.
