Assist the Vice President/Assistant Vice President with the administrative and budgetary operations of the unit.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Vice President in the day-to-day operation of the unit. Coordinate the preparation of all unit-wide Strategic and Operational documents.
Assist the Assistant Vice President in management of planning, personnel, budget and finances for all departments reporting to the Vice President.
Direct and manage the Vice President for Information Technology administrative support staff. Manage all personnel matters, interview, hire and train support staff.
Manage and coordinate plans for various projects and events including large professional conferences, university events and all programmed entertainment hosted by the Vice President.
Provide guidance to Vice President, Assistant Vice President and all department heads reporting to the Vice President on policy and procedural matters and Affirmative Action requirements.
Knowledge, Training and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business or Office Administration.
Five years of related experience.
An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
