JOB TITLE: Assistant Director Facilities - SAC

JOB SUMMARY

Directs the Student Activities Center Administration in the facility and operational management of the Student Activities Center and Red Barn.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Direct the Student Activities Center and Red Barn operations including: technical operations, setup, reservations, event consultation, and event coordination.

Direct a customer service plan for the operations of the Student Activities Center and Red Barn to include assessment and evaluation.

Direct the training, supervision, motivation, and evaluation of professional, para-professional, classified, and student facilities staff. Encourage and support professional development opportunities for all staff.

Direct the review, enhancements, replacements and repair of the audio visual systems in the Student Activities Center and the Red Barn to include the computer systems, network administration, sound, light and video systems.

Direct the preparation, planning, monitoring and control of the Student Activities Center Administration budget. Direct the departmental expenditures and proper handling of generated income.

Direct the ongoing renovation, maintenance, and general appearance in the Student Activities Center and Red Barn.

Direct the health, safety, security and keying of the Student Activities Center and Red Barn.

Direct policy development and enforcement for the operations of the Student Activities Center and Red Barn.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS

Master's degree in Student Personnel Services, Higher Education or Administration.

EXPERIENCE

Six years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
