Coordinate and direct the operation of academically related administrative functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Review and monitor individual budgets relating to an academic program.
Process confidential correspondence, investigate subject matters, and prepare replies.
Gather data, prepare academic reports, complete questionnaires, and prepare responses to non-fiscal inquires.
May prepare and process faculty transactions as they relate to promotion, tenure and new appointments.
Maintain academic records on student, faculty, or program related matters.
Coordinate the logistics of various academic programs and projects.
Provide guidance to faculty, students and/or staff on policy and procedural matters.
May produce technical writing of various kinds, including proposals and grant requests.
May perform special studies and assignments as directed.
Coordinate, schedule and where appropriate, participate in meetings and conferences.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Training and Skills
One year of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
