Advise and counsel students on curriculum selection, registration procedures and other related academic matters.
Duties and Responsibilities
Advise students on curriculum selection, degree requirements, and University procedures and regulations.
Correspond with students and various University departments concerning academic matters.
Maintain detailed records on students' progress within the academic program.
Gather and review student data for purposes of assessing guidance needs.
May assist in planning and implementing summer school workshops.
Participate in the admission and financial aid process for students within a designated academic program.
Assist in the orientation of new students to the academic program.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Training and Skills
Six months of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
