JOB SUMMARY

Manage the operational activities of a research unit including establishing policy or following protocol, interpreting of data, meeting budgetary requirements and administering effective public relations programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedule and direct operations to ensure the timely and effective completion of all planned activities and projects.

Prepare written reports from research studies to disseminate information to clients, Professional colleagues, and other interested groups and organizations.

Monitor data collection and analysis for research studies.

May prepare research papers for publication and presentation.

Organize and conduct conferences, training programs, and workshops to provide instruction in the use of research materials.

Establish administrative policies and procedures that facilitate the acquisition of research data.

Develop research proposals.

May design new equipment or coordinate the development of new equipment.

Perform related duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND SKILLS

Master's degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.

EXPERIENCE

Four years of related experience.
