JOB TITLE: Director, Information Technology - Printing Services

Direct and control the Printing Services unit within Information Technology.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage the human resources of the unit including personnel functions (recruiting, hiring, training, career planning, staff development and training, evaluation, discipline, etc.), cultivation team management and productivity.
Encourage innovation and improved delivery of printing services, including Camera services, Press operations, and bindery operations.
Develop and implement unit's long range and short term service plans. Coordinate planning with other Information Technology (IT) service units and assist with IT-wide planning efforts.
Prepare and manage unit budget including resource deployment and revenue generation, monitor expenditures and revenue, and manage projects including staffing and scheduling.
Develop and promote Printing Services' relationship with its customers and other IT service units. Maintain service levels and customer satisfaction.
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Liberal Arts, or Graphic Arts Management, or related field. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
Seven years of related experience. Higher education experience preferred.
