Job Summary
Coordinate projects and assignments for the Vice President for Information Technology and Assistant Vice Presidents; develop strategic, tactical, operational and financial plans, models, policies, procedures and associated documents; assist with information technology RFPs, bids, contract negotiations and other procurement related projects; research legal issues relative to information technology and coordinate methods for communicating appropriate issues (e.g., copyright) to the University community.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and assist with cross-functional projects and related assignments for Vice President and Assistant Vice Presidents
Develop strategic, tactical, operational and financial plans, models, policies, procedures and associated documents.
Research legal issues relative to information technology and coordinate methods for communicating appropriate issues (e.g., copyright) to the University community; act as resource to Office of University Counsel for intellectual property and information technology legal issues.
Assist with information technology RFPs, bids, contract negotiations and other procurement related projects.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Training and Skills
Master's degree in Computer Science or related engineering program, Intellectual Property law.
Experience
Nine years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
