JOB TITLE: Superintendent, Maintenance & Renovation

JOB SUMMARY
Plan, schedule, and coordinate activities on the Belknap and Shelby Campuses involving interior and exterior maintenance, repair, and renovation work. Serve as project manager for renovation projects.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Manage, direct, supervise and serve as primary contact for renovation projects including project meetings, drawings and specifications, bids, budgets, and completion.
Direct and oversee the work involved with the interior and exterior maintenance of all buildings on the Belknap and Shelby Campuses and for roof maintenance on all three campuses.
Direct and oversee the work in the renovation shop, paint shop, cabinet shop, carpet shop, lock and key shop, and general services.
Handle personnel issues including hiring, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
Maintain personnel, attendance, and timecard records.
Conduct training sessions and attend meetings.
Order materials and contact vendors as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be substituted for the requirement noted.
EXPERIENCE
Six years of experience in the Building Trades.
