JOB TITLE: Director, Health Sciences Technical Services

Work directly with the Assistant Vice-President for Health Affairs/Planning and Budget, Assistant Vice-President for Health Affairs/Director of Administration and Finance, the Associate Vice-President for Health Informatics/Primary Care and Associate Vice-President Health Affairs, and the Associate Vice-President for Health Affairs/Research and Vice-Dean for Research in matters related to the overall operation of the Health Sciences Campus.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Work with the Assistant Vice-President for Health Affairs in matters related to the overall operation of the Health Sciences Campus, to include overseeing the reallocation, renovation and attainment of space.
Initiate, supervise and/or monitor projects with service providers. In-house includes Physical Plant, Food Services, Housekeeping, all division of Information Technology, Public Safety, University Planning, Design, and Construction and Environmental Health and Safety. External vendors include general contractors, audio/visual suppliers, and others.
Direct the operation of the Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences Services Departments. Prepare their annual budgets and monitor fiscal compliance.
Work with the Assistant Vice-President for Finance and Assistant Vice-President for Health Informatics.
Serve on various University Committees. Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
Seven years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
