JOB SUMMARY
Assist in processing and awarding financial aid and train and supervise staff members.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Counsel and advise students and students and parents on various types of financial aid.
Review applications and authorize financial aid awards.
Prepare and submit budget requests and grant proposals.
Supervise the work study program.
Coordinate the activities of the Financial Aid office with various academic and business departments of the University and off-campus agencies.
Assist in the planning and revision of printed material: brochures, reports, etc.
Participate in financial aid workshops and seminars.
Provide guidance, supervision and information to staff members.
Perform related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & SKILLS
Master's degree in Student Personnel Administration, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
Five years of related experience.
An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
