Job Summary

Assist in the development and implementation of educational program and research studies in compliance with grants and contracts for the Labor Management Center.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the Continuing Education Coordinator in developing training programs in Labor-Management relations.

Market and coordinate in-house training programs for businesses and unions.

Assist in the development of instructional materials and the logistical arrangements for training programs.

Assist in the development and preparation of descriptive materials, brochures, and newsletter.

Conduct research activities including questionnaire design, determination of sampling frame, data analysis, and report generation.

Assist in assessment training, research, program development, and services.

Maintain liaison with experts in the various areas of specialization and remain cognizant of new development in the field.

Promote positive public relations for the Center.

Perform related duties as directed.

Knowledge, Training and Skills

Master's degree in Labor-Management Relations or a related field.


Four years of experience in Labor-Management Relations and/or Trade Union Administration and University Teaching. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements.
