Responsible for directing Student Activities programming for student body at the University of Louisville to include supervision, development and coordination of the Student Activities Board, student leadership programs and other co-curricular programs. This position is also responsible for the supervision for the supervision of staff and the management of he Student Activities Board budget.


Direct the Student Activities programs to include the Student Activities Board and other co-curricular programs with the Student Activities Center Administration Staff. Assure compliance with the University event and alcohol policies and procedures. Evaluate programs for risk management issues.

Direct the Student Activities Center Administration Programming Staff in their duties to include: training, supervision, motivation and evaluation.

Develop and coordinate student leadership programs.

Direct the planning, monitoring and control of the Student Activities Board budget. Oversee that programs are advertised extensively on campus through all mediums available.

Direct the ongoing student development & teamwork, and marketing & promotion.

Review all performance contracts and their attached riders for the compliance to departmental practice, University policy and Kentucky State law.

Assess the effectiveness of Student Activities programs and modifies the programs based on assessment results.


Master's degree in Student Personnel Services, Higher Education or Administration.


Six years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.
