Get Healthy Now
Get Healthy Now is the University of Louisville’s award winning employee health management program that provides participating employees with access to comprehensive wellness resources. The program is designed to encourage UofL employees to take a pro-active approach to their health and to help the university slow the rise of costs associated with its health plan. Each year, during Open Enrollment, employees/retirees and their spouse/QA have the opportunity to opt-into the Get Healthy Now program by completing the Health Risk Assessment.
Get Healthy Now services are free for participating employees. There may be some minor cost associated with certain wellness initiatives to cover supplies and/or supporting materials. Annual completion of the Health Risk assessment is required for participation in Get Healthy Now. Employees who are enrolled in a UofL health plan receive a $40 monthly premium incentive for participation and have access to additional health resources provided through our third party vendor, Health Fitness Corporation.
Who is eligible to participate in Get Healthy Now?
All employees, retirees (pre-65) and their spouse/qualifying adult can participate in Get Healthy Now. ONLY those employees enrolled in the medical plan qualify for the $40 monthly premium incentive and have access to the resources provided by the third party vendor, Health Fitness Corporation.
When can I take the Health Risk Assessment?
(This is MANDATORY to receive the $40 a month incentive)
Now through October 31—must be completed annually during the Open Enrollment event.
If you HAVE health insurance through the University of Louisville:
- Take the online Health Risk Assessment (HRA) annually during Open Enrollment
- Complete Health Advisory Call to review results and determine additional requirements for program participation.
- Participate in Empowered Health Coaching program if HRA indicates medium-high health risk(s).

If you do not have health insurance through the University of Louisville:
- Complete the Waiver/Get Healthy Now Registration Form (DOC).
- Complete and submit to Get Healthy Now via email or fax 502-852-5665.
- What’s in it for you?
- Access to all on-site initiatives for no monthly fee.
- Incentives can be earned based on program participation (Healthy Recipe Cook, GHN Lunch Box, etc.) in the on-site initiatives.

When prompted to enter "Username" insert your employee I.D. #
Spouse/qualifying adult: Have your spouse/QA complete the online health risk assessment using your employee number plus the letters "sp" (ex: 1234567sp) as both their user name and password. Qualifying adults will add "qa" to your employee number for their user name and password.
When prompted to enter Password: Follow instructions below
If you were a previous participant, your password remains the same. (If you forgot, then click "Forgot Password" link and follow instructions)
If you DID NOT participate last year, then click the "New Visitors Click Here" link to set up your password.
Participation Guidelines:
If your assessment identifies moderate to high health risks, you must enroll in the Empowered Health Coaching program and maintain monthly contact (telephonically or electronically) with your health coach to receive the $40 monthly premium incentive.
Confidential Health Information:
The information you provide on the health risk assessment, biometric screening or fitness profile is confidential. Get Healthy Now cannot provide a person’s information to anyone without a signed consent form. The third party vendor, Health Fitness Corporation, compiles data into an anonymous group summary to help Human Resources determine the types of programs that might benefit the entire group of employees participating in Get Healthy Now.
