The University of Louisville provides pharmacy benefits for all covered individuals who elect a health plan.  The pharmacy benefit is administered by Express Scripts.

 The University of Louisville is part of the Kentucky Rx Coalition whose goal is to help improve clinical outcomes, share best practices, and maximize cost efficiencies in our prescription benefit program.  The Kentucky Rx Coalition can help:

• Find lower cost prescription alternatives
• Contact physician and/or Pharmacy for Rx alternatives
• Questions regarding Side Effects, Drug Interactions, Over-the-Counter Medications  
• General Rx Benefit Troubleshooting
