Do you have health coverage under a UofL PPO or EPO health plan?
UofL PPO and EPO health plans cover basic eye examinations with a provider that is contracted with United Health Care. No UofL health plan covers glasses and contact lenses.
UofL Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences Also Offers a Discount Service to UofL employees
This is a discount service that cannot be used with insurance or any other discounts. A University of Louisville ID card is required. There is no monthly cost.

The Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences offers services through Eye Specialists of Louisville. Offices are at the Kentucky Lions Eye Center on the Health Sciences Center Campus, The Springs Medical Center on Dutchmans Parkway and in the East End at the Summit.
