The university observes the following holidays:

• New Year's Day
• Martin Luther King Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday
• Christmas Day
• Tuesday after the first Monday in November in Presidential election years.

The President of the university may authorize additional holidays and extend the length of any holiday. The dates of holiday observance will be announced by the Office of the President.
