Health & Sport Sciences LLC

The Health and Sport Sciences Living Learning Community brings together students wishing to pursue a career in Sport Administration or Health and Human Performance fields.

This community provides students majoring in Sport Administration and Health and Human Performance (concentrations in Exercise Science, Physical Education Teacher Preparation, and Youth Sport Development) the opportunity to experience Health and Sports Sciences through complete immersion. Participants of this LLC will live on the same floor, take courses together, and receive specialized programming focusing on academic and social integration. This community is housed in Unitas Tower, located adjacent to the Porter building, home of the the advising and student support office for these majors. Learn more about Unitas Tower here.

Meet the Advisors

Headshot image of Ctaherine ThompsonCatherine Thompson has been part of the University of Louisville since 2015, working as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of First Year Initiatives and earning her Master of Education in College Student Personnel in 2017. She is currently pursuing her Master of Sciences in Sports Administration and is an Academic Counselor for Health and Sports Sciences majors.

Catherine is originally from Versailles, Kentucky. When she isn't working with students or cheering on her UofL Cardinals during sporting events, she is spending time with her nieces and nephew, kickin' it with friends, working out, traveling the world, eating unique cuisine, enjoying concerts and festivals, and DJing in her spare time.
