Cardinal Towne & University Pointe

Campus Housing, in cooperation with American Campus Communities (ACC) will assume management of Cardinal Towne and University Pointe starting August 2, 2017. This wonderful opportunity will allow for more returning UofL students to continue to find their #MyUofLHome with us! Below you will find information on how to apply and pricing information for both properties!

APPLICATION INFORMATION

PLEASE REMEMBER in order to apply, you will need to use Internet Explorer or Firefox versions 9 or higher!

Current residents of Cardinal Towne or University Pointe

By filling out this application it will not change your status or any previous arrangements that were made. The priority deadline to complete the application is February 7, 2017 at 11:59 PM. If you fill out the application after this date, we cannot guarantee you will remain in your same apartment for next year. Once you complete your application, you will be renewed for a 12-month lease. If you wish to renew for a shorter lease, please email us at oncampus@louisville.edu.

  1. Go to the Campus Housing main website.
  2. Under the "Welcome" tab, click on “Housing Portal” button.
  3. Log in using your 7-digit university ID number.
  4. Enter their 7-digit university ID number AGAIN as their password.
If you currently live in Cardinal Towne or University Pointe and you are not a UofL student and would like to continue to live in either property for the 2017 - 2018 academic year, please fill out the Appeal Request to the Director of Housing form.

Students who have applied to Cardinal Towne or University Pointe through the ACC

If you had already applied for Cardinal Towne or University Pointe via their application (a paper application at the front office or via an online application on their websites), you will need to complete a housing application through the general housing website.

By filling out this application, it will not change your status or any previous arrangements that were made. The priority deadline to complete the application is February 14th, 2017 at 11:59 PM. If you fill out the application after this date, we cannot guarantee that we will have space available, nor can we guarantee that we will honor any requests you made via your previous application with CardTowne or UPointe. Once you complete your application, you will be renewed for a 12-month lease. If you wish to renew for a shorter lease, please email us at oncampus@louisville.edu.

Current Campus Housing residents who have NOT renewed for 2017 - 2018

  1. Go to the Campus Housing main website.
  2. Under the "Welcome" tab, click on “Housing Portal” button.
  3. Log in using your 7-digit university ID number.
  4. Leave the password box completely BLANK (if you have not set a password).

Current Campus Housing resident who HAVE RENEWED for 2017 - 2018

Please submit a Room Change/Waitlist Request with your preference(s).

Never lived in Campus Housing, Cardinal Towne or University Pointe

    1. Go to the Campus Housing main website.
    2. Click on “Apply for Housing” button.
    3. Select “I want to live on campus beginning Fall 2017”.
    4. Click “I have attended college before OR am over the age of 21”.

     

    RATES & LICENSE INFORMATION FOR 2017 - 2018

     

    Click Campus Housing Master Lease of Cardinal Towne and University Pointe Rates to find the 2017 - 2018 academic year rates.

    License dates for the 2017 – 2018 academic year (subject to change):

    • 9-month license: August 15, 2017 until May 2, 2018 (possible flexibility on ending date)
    • 12-month license: August 15, 2017 until August 1, 2018

     

    MEAL PLAN INFORMATION

    Cardinal Towne residents who are taking at least 12 credit hours or more with at least 9 of those credit hours on the Belknap Campus will be automatically billed for the commuter meal plan (“Basic Flex Plan”) - $250.00/semester

    University Pointe residents will be required to be on the on-campus apartment meal plan ("Apartment Flex Plan") - $1020.00/semester

    PARKING INFORMATION

    Cardinal Towne

    Parking Permit Payments

    - If you have purchased a parking permit for the underground parking garage, please remember you need to be making your monthly payment (or pay for the remainder of the semester) by the 15th of every month. You can pay for your pass here. More information will be sent to you monthly about this payment from a Campus Housing staff member.

    Parking Management Information

    If you do not have valid Campus Housing parking permit for this month or semester, you are NOT able to park in the underground parking garages.

    • If you would like to purchase a underground Campus Housing parking permit, please reach out to our office at oncampus@louisville.edu. Please be aware that there currently is a waitlist for students looking to obtain a Cardinal Towne parking permit.

    Campus Housing will tow vehicles in the underground parking garages that do not have a valid parking permit displayed and/or are not parked in their assigned parking space as early as Wednesday, October 4th at 8:00 AM. All information regarding towing of vehicles is below.

    Dave’s Towing Service & Storage

    • Charges will be $138.00 per tow and $25.00 per day storage fee.
      • Over-sized vehicles will be charged accordingly
      • There will be a $27.00 charge for dollies if used

    University Pointe

    University Pointe residents will be able to purchase a yellow parking permit from Campus Parking for the yellow parking lots.
