Apply for Housing

To be eligible for University housing, you must be an admitted student at the University of Louisville. The application for housing is separate from the application for admissions. Because the demand for on-campus housing is very high, submitting an application does not guarantee an assignment.

Complete a housing application online. New residents will need to submit a $130 nonrefundable payment. Current residents will need to submit a $10 nonrefunable application fee. Current residents should only pay the $10 application fee. If you are a current resident and pay $130 we cannot offer a refund.

ULP,  which included Bettie Johnson Hall, Kurz Hall, Community Park, and Minardi Hall, has a separate application. The leasing office for the ULP community is located in Kurz Hall at 1900 South 4th Street. For additional information and an application please call: 502-854-9011 or visit their website. Tours are available from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily.

Housing Application Payment and Cancellation Penalties

First time applicants are required to make a $130 nonrefunable payment at application. We accept payment with credit card or check through the online application. If a student cancels, additional fees may apply as detailed in the cancellation policy.Please go here to read the current cancellation policy. Please NOTE: The Housing License is a binding contract for both Fall and Spring Semester.
