Honors Volunteer Program

Honors Volunteer Program (HVP) is a branch of the Honors Student Council (HSC). 

Throughout the academic year HVP under the guidance of its two service chairs plan and participate in a wide variety of volunteer service activities.  In the past HVP has served food at the Salvation Army, collected goods for various charities, prepared valentines for a local assisted living community and probably most popularly- handed out candy during the Louisville Zoo's Halloween at the Zoo program.  In the spring of 2010 the Honors Student Council and Volunteer program hosted a campus and community-wide book and media sale and donated the proceed to Kosair's Children's Hospital.
