Yuxin Ma is an Associate Professor of East Asian history. Her specialties are late imperial and Republican China and Chinese women’s history. Her book Women Journalists and Feminism in China, 1898-1937 was published in January 2010. She has authored articles in Women’s History Review, Gender Issues, Twentieth Century China and other journals. Currently she is studying popular media (periodical, movie and radio) and gender issues in Manchukuo.
