Program Information

This program is designed for students who wish to qualify for college administrative positions. It does not qualify graduates for Kentucky administration certification. This degree is also available for distance education through on-line instruction.

Admission Requirements:  Unconditional admission to School of Interdisciplinary and Graduate Studies and the MA in Higher Education Administration program.  Admissions criteria:  Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA 2.75; GRE scores (waived if undergraduate cumulative GPA is 3.0 or higher or completion of a master's degree with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher); 2 letters of recommendation; resume; and professional goal statement.  Students may be recommended for conditional admission upon recommendation of the program faculty.  Meeting the GPA and GRE requirements does not guarantee admission to the program.
