Description. This intermediate/advanced workshop will take a case-study approach to exploring issues of power dynamics in the classroom, handling conflict, and negotiating social identities.
Learning Outcomes. During this session, participants will develop:
-A deeper understanding of how power flows in classrooms.
-Awareness of ways of mediating conflict around difficult diversity discussions.
