As part of an increased push for reflective and effective graduate student mentoring relationships at U of L, the School of Interdisciplinary and Graduate Studies will be hosting a Mentoring Kick-Off on April 30th from 9am until 12pm. This Kick-Off will spark conversations about mentoring practices through improv sketches, facilitated discussions, and interactions between graduate student and faculty attendees.
The event will be an opportunity for sharing resources and insights about mentoring to foster a “culture of mentorship” at the University, and bringing together both graduate students and established faculty mentors from across the departments is crucial to that goal.
