The Part-time Faculty committee met in May with two orders of business: 1) discussion of revising the survey of Part-time Faculty at UofL which we will conduct in Fall Semester 2008 as part of an ongoing study of part-time faculty begun and approved by the IRB in 2005. 2) Recruiting a new committee member to shadow our current liaison to the Executive Committee with the possibility of running for the position at our election meeting in September. Susan Peacock volunteered for the possibility.
We will not meet in June but will meet again after the July Senate Meeting to finalize the revision of and logistics for the survey. This will be our last committee report until the September Senate Meeting.
