The APC met on Thursday, May 22, to consider one proposal for a new center and three proposals for new degree programs.  The committee was impressed with all 4 proposals and approved them with limited modifications.  The proposals may be viewed on the Senate's Docushare site.  https://docushare.louisville.edu/dscgi/ds.py/View/Collection-1963

The three degree programs, all from the College of Arts and Sciences, will be presented by the APC and P&B at the June Senate meeting as motions for approval.  The degree programs are:

B.S. in Atmospheric Science
M.A. in Anthropology
Ph.D. in Physics

The Non-Profit IT Center, from the College of Business, will be presented at the July Senate meeting as the director will not be able to attend the June meeting.

Respectfully,

Bob Staat,
