What's the best way to support all the great things happening at UofL? Make a gift! You may choose to designate your gift to a specific UofL school or college, the UofL Libraries, a scholarship program, or a research area or academic department important to you.

In appreciation for your online gift made by Dec. 31, we'll mail you a free UofL "It's Happening Here" t-shirt. This good looking shirt has the University of Louisville logo on the front and the university’s "poem" on the back--the values that define UofL.

After you make your online gift, the Annual Giving staff will send you an email asking what size t-shirt you wish to receive. T-shirts will be mailed in January.

Due to the cost of overseas mailing, we can only mail t-shirts to addresses in the United States.

Gifts by Credit Card or Check

The easiest way to give to UofL is by credit card or check.

You can give by credit card through our secure online giving form  or by calling the UofL Development Office at 502-852-6588. Or you can return a pledge card you received in the mail along with your credit card information or check.

Deadlines to qualify for a year-end tax deduction in 2008:

1. Credit Card Gifts

Gifts made on credit cards must be RECEIVED by:

Online  – Dec. 31, 11:59 p.m. EST
Mail - Must be postmarked by Dec. 23 to ensure processing time and mail delivery
Phone - Dec. 30, 4:00 p.m. EST

2. Check gifts

To give by check, the envelope must be postmarked by Dec. 31, 2008, to qualify for a tax deduction this year. Mail your gift to:
