UofL donors give $86.5 million in fiscal year 2007-08

The University of Louisville had a record fund raising year for fiscal year 2007-08.
Between July 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008, the university raised more than $86.5 million, eclipsing the previous year’s mark by $35 million. The largest previous record was $66 million, reached in fiscal year 2004-05.
Kosair Charities provided the largest gift, a $12 million commitment to create the Kosair Charities Pediatric Cancer Research Center at UofL’s James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
