Shumaker Research Building, UofL's Belknap Campus


The University of Louisville Center for GIS would like to welcome YOU to GIS Day 2012!  Join us on Wednesday November 14th as we celebrate Geographic Information Systems and explore the benefits of geospatial technology in our community!  Events will take place from 9AM-2PM in the Shumaker Research Building and will include:

  • Presentations from local GIS agencies (Download the Agenda)
  • Map Gallery (Submit your entry HERE!)
  • Tours of UofL's Campus and Sustainability Initiatives
  • Freebies
  • Refreshments (pizza and soft drinks)
Anyone is welcome to attend, and this event is entirely FREE, but we do ask that you fill out a quick registration so we know that you're coming!  
If you'd like to help spread the word, please download our flyer and post it in your office, business or nearest telephone pole!
Getting there: The Shumaker Research Building is located at the north end of the Lutz Hall Quad.  Parking is available in the Speed Museum Garage and the Floyd Street Garage.
