FREE LIVE THEATRE!!!!! Studio Theatre Presents:

  • Mark Twain's The Diaries of Adam and Eve, a hilarious re-telling of the Biblical myth.
  • "Scenes from the Hart" a collection of mini plays inspired by UofL's Hart Exhibition.

Both at The Thrust Theater (corner of Floyd and Warnock), October 25-28, 8 pm., nightly.

There will also be refreshments and givaways.

Theater Arts is coordinating a number of activities to coincide with the exhibit:

  • "Interrogating the Nude," by Doug Wright - September 26-30 at The Playhouse. Directed by Jim Thompkins. Focus is on gender, sexuality and reality in modern art.
  • "Scenes from the Hart": Acting 324 and 320 students will visit the exhibit and choose an image or pose in order to create an open scene. The best scenes will be selected for a public exhibition at a date to be announced.
  • "The Creation": A performance which will focus on the exhibition and James Weldon Johnson's poem, "The Creation." Actor, dancer, and soloist.
