Thanks for a GREAT Welcome Week 2011!What is Welcome Week?Welcome Week is a great way to start your semester at UofL and includes some of the most exciting events students will attend during their time at the university. An essential experience for every new student, Welcome Week helps you make the transition from summertime student-to-be to first-time UofL student. What Happens at Welcome Week? There is so much to do! Even the most enthusiastic student may not be able to attend all the events, but be sure to attend our Signature Events, including Friday's Unit Open Houses and the Presidential Convocation and CAPS Ceremony (to see full text of the Provost's speech from Convocation 2011, click here: http://louisville.edu/provost/fromtheprovostitems/choices-and-expectations), and Saturday's session with Cultural Center Director Michael Anthony (American Pie) and the SOUL service event. SOUL on-line registration is available to all students. If you signed up for early registration at Orientation, please check your email account for information! Students: please be sure to bring your student ID to Signature Events to be swiped in for attendance. Check out the full schedule of events. Parents are invited to participate in many events and will especially enjoy Friday's opportunities to meet faculty, advisors, alumni, and President Ramsey. Welcome Week 2011 Schedules
