TENTATIVE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

WELCOME WEEK 2014

Welcome Week events help get all students (commuter and residential alike) introduced to the Civic, Academic, Personal, and Social aspects of UofL (CAPS). Programming is designed to meet that goal while at the same time offering fun, engaging activities that allow students to make personal connections with faculty, staff, current, and new students.

NOTE: The SIGNATURE CAPS EVENTS (CAPS Logo) are events that all first-year students are EXPECTED TO ATTEND. Please note the CAPS logo next to the 5 events on Friday and 1 event on Saturday which indicate those are Signature Events. Be sure to bring your student ID to these events to be checked in for attendance!

Parking: You can park for FREE August 18 - 24 at the Floyd Street Garage. Get directions to campus.

"Dog Days"
9 am – 5 pm (Mon. – Fri. through August 29)
Photographic Archives Gallery, Ekstrom Library Lower Level
This exhibit about dogs isn’t really about dogs. It’s a look at the breadth of collections in the photographic archives. It just so happens dogs are what bring these collections together. Dog Days contains historic moments, beautiful art works, and touching and unique stories within each photograph.
