Continuing Undergraduate Academic Scholarship

by Farmer,Katherine Elizabeth last modified Jul 10, 2012 06:05 PM

A limited number of the Continuing Undergraduate Academic Scholarships are available for undergraduate students seeking their first bachelor's degree at the University of Louisville.  Students must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA at the University of Louisville and at least 24, but not more than 144, credit hours to qualify.

Students may apply if they currently do not have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or at least 24 credit hours, but anticipate meeting those requirements by the end of the spring term in which they submit the application. Students already receiving a full-time renewable University scholarship (like Trustees, Porter, and National Scholars Award) are not eligible to participate in this program. Awards are based on funds available and enrollment of 12.0 credit hours or more. Students enrolled between 6.0 and 11.0 credit hours will have their award reduced. Students enrolled for less than 6.0 credit hours are not eligible. Continuing U of L students wanting consideration for the Continuing Student Scholarship must apply through the directions outlined below.

The deadline to apply is March 15th prior to the next academic school year. Applications are available on ULink beginning January 1st. Students need to do the following in order to apply:

  1. Login to ULink
  2. Click on the Student Services tab
  3. Click on Apply for Continuing Undergrad Scholarship under the Financial Aid section
  4. Click Apply Now (Application is Submitted)

No additional information is required and students will be notified following the spring term.
