A limited number of the Continuing Undergraduate Academic Scholarships are available for undergraduate students seeking their first bachelor's degree at the University of Louisville. Students must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA at the University of Louisville and at least 24, but not more than 144, credit hours to qualify. The deadline to apply is February 15 prior to the next academic school year. Students selected to receive the scholarship are notified following the conclusion of the spring term, typically in late May/early June.
Students may apply with the anticipation of meeting the minimum requirements outlined above by the end of the spring term in which they submit the application. Students already receiving a renewable admission-based award (such as those associated with the Trustees, Porter, National Scholars, and UofL Grant programs) are not eligible to participate in this program.
Award amounts are determined based on funds available and the number of qualified applicants. Full-time enrollment awards are always made upon the initial offer. Students who choose to enroll part-time (between 6.0 and 11.0 credit hours) will receive a 50% adjustment to the award offer at a later date. Students who enroll less than part-time do not qualify.
Note: The application process has changed. All scholarships managed by the Student Financial Office (SFAO), including the Continuing Undergraduate Academic Scholarship, are now managed via one application.
