The financial wellness of our students is very important to us. This webpage contains information on special events and websites that can benefit you.
We encourage you to attend and participate in all financial literacy activities offered at the University of Louisville. These events will provide information on credit and debit cards, insurance, contracts, income taxes, budgets, loans and financial aid, banking, savings, credit reports and more.
A great place to start is the university's Financial Literacy website.
Brought to you by the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA), this website contains instructional videos on financial literacy. It is dedicated to instructing students on how to control their finances. You can also download their financial flyer (pdf).
The U.S. Department of Education provides an excellent tutorial to assist you in understanding your financial aid and managing your finances. Complete their Financial Awareness Counseling to understand your loans, manage your spending, plan for repayment, and avoid default. Make your finances a priority!
CashCourse is brought to you by The National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) and the University of Louisville. At this website you can learn about Financial Basics, Paying for College, College Life, and the World of Work. To read the University's press release about CashCourse click here (pdf).
